2024 Joint HL7 Australia & HL7 New Zealand webinar
The purpose of this free webinar is for HL7 AU & NZ members and interested individuals to hear from the Australian and New Zealand delegates attending the HL7 International Working Group Meeting + & FHIR Connectathon 21 – 27 September 2024 held in Atlanta, USA. HL7 International holds its working group meetings (WGM) three times per year. The September 2024 meeting followed a new format to include additional plenary sessions to provide the international membership with updates on some of the global collaborations underway and the associated policy implications for advancing HL7 standards adoption.
Topics to be covered in this debriefing will include:
- Outcome of recent HL7 International elections
- HL7’s continued efforts in relation to AI
- HL7’s efforts to support low & middle income countries/regions
- TSC discussions regarding oversight by ANSI vs alternative models.
- HL7’s involvement in the Joint Initiative Council
- Progress of other FHIR Accelerators
